The Opportunity

Kit is looking to hire an ambitious Paid & Performance Media Marketing Manager to drive customer acquisition from multiple channels.

Let’s start by introducing ourselves

We’re Kit, built by CommBank – an earning-and-learning, mindfully-spending, money-mastering app and prepaid card for kids.

We are a diverse team of product managers, designers, marketers, engineers, risk managers and customer service gurus. And we’re working together to deliver the future of financial capability for young people living in Australia.

We're looking for smart people who think differently and want to create products that result in future generations of financially confident, capable and resilient citizens thriving in the new world of money.

This is a new role for an ambitious Paid & Performance Media Marketing Manager to build, run and optimise campaigns across multiple channels within a digital business. Your core competency will be Paid Media but you’ll bring experience in other channels to the table, as well as a drive to learn more and orchestrate campaigns in those you have not used before.

Do you think in customer journeys, understanding and appreciating that servicing potential customers across their research and consideration stages will lead to efficient conversion. Do you have a knack for being able to engage our target market at point of search and lead them to the information and functionality they’re after, providing them with a great brand experience, even if they’re not ready to sign up on the day. Then we’d love to hear from you!

Your impact and contribution

This is a new role, created with the intention of optimising the team’s performance as we work across various marketing channels at Kit, x15 and CommBank in a digital native business.

You will apply our technical skills and growth mindset to elevate Kit to become the leading pocket money app in Australia. Reporting to the Chief Brand & Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing Kit’s paid media strategy, delivering daily optimisation of the paid media accounts and bid management tools, as well as reporting results and interesting changes, both in the accounts and the greater landscape, to the team. You’ll be proficient in working across a variety of platforms and tools such as Google Ads (specifically UAC and SEM), Apple Search, Meta, and more.

Collaborating closely with the Kit Brand & Digital Marketing Manager plus Paid and Performance Media SMEs at CommBank, you will apply your excellent communication skills and creative mindset to help the team create the best outcomes from our campaigns.

As a forward-thinking marketer, you’ll love the opportunity to work across many different projects and channels, leveraging your passions for Paid and Performance Media and bringing fresh ideas to the table.

We’re a highly awarded brand, with a D&AD Pencil under our belt! We want someone to join the team who will be passionate about bringing our brand and product to life, for growing the category and finding more customers open to a kid's pocket money app and prepaid card and starting their child’s journey to financial capability with Kit.
