Our approach to home loan lending
We believe that the best loan journey combines brilliant customer service and a seamless digital experience from application all the way to settlement. The interactions between customers and our people have an outsized impact on their experience – and we’re all about delivering great customer outcomes.
You will execute on the strategic roadmap for Unloan’s onboarding experience to deliver a seamless digital home loan application experience. Your focus will be optimizing the journey to improve the experience and deliver business value.
You will own the ideation, planning and delivery of the customer onboarding experience and ensure our customers have a seemless digital home loan application process . This role will have a strong focus on data and analytics to uncover pain points and conversion uplift opportunities. Building relationships within front line teams is essential to the success of this role.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Own our Onboarding Experience and drive the product roadmap
Develop and execute a thoughtful strategic product roadmap by working closely with the Product Director and cross-functionally with other business functions to identify the business’s biggest problems to solve.
Working with the development team to ensure that the product backlog is well defined and prioritsed.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including executives, business analysts and engineers within CBA.
Communicate effectively throughout the planning, development and releases of our product features.
Drive and caretake all facets of product feature development including ensuring all required approvals are attained in timely manner in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
You have passion for data and are committed to generation and utilization of data to drive informed decision-making.
Troubleshoot and resolve any day-to-day queries that may arise, that relate to platform or vendor APIs.
Be a thought leader in Customer Onboarding
Utilise your curiosity about the latest development in the industry and experience in customer experience and conversion to influence key stakeholders to balance the priotisation of the key business needs of the Unloan business.
Collaborate with other product managers and product owners on solutioning to ensure the right experiences for our customers and internal users, remove blockers and alert to dependencies to drive effective delivery.

Your experience & knowledge
You’re an expert in digital experiences and are excited to push the envelope for innovation
You have experience with driving change, ideally relating to co-ordinating the implementation of solutions to issues across broad, complex areas
You have experience in digital-first businesses, where automation and simple processes are core pillars in planning and delivery activity. Experience with financial or lending products is a bonus.
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (including Marketing, Operations, Product, Engineer, Design and Risk)
You have experience in Agile delivery and can champion agile ways of working with the squad
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects/streams at the same time
Proficient in utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to enhance product performance and quality
