This team needs engineers at every level. We are seeking learners and leaders who enjoy a spirit of co-creation and pairing on complex technical problems.
Be part of a product lead engineering culture driven by a grassroots agile process, owned by your team.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
Develop and deploy high quality software solutions
Design and implement technical solutions for functional and non-functional requirements.
Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features.
Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.
Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team / platform
Get involved in testing and debugging
Contribute to the agile ways of working such as stand-up, walkthroughs, Sprints
Communicate and collaborate with business analysts, designers, developers, etc.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
5+ years’ full stack experience using Python or JavaScript
Familiarity with the software development framework – React or Angular
Hands on experience in front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3
Understanding of back-end technology such as, NodeJS or AWS
Experience with database such as DynamoDB, Postgress or S3
Ability to think outside the box and solve problems with new ideas
Be able to present and communicate ideas and solutions to the wider team.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency with GitHub
Knowledge of API and Microservices
Experience in DevOps practises (Jenkins CICD, Terraform, Docker etc)
Experience deploying applications within a cloud environment (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience in the financial services industry
