Where do you fit in?

Getting in at the ground floor, you will be a founding member of the Strategy team, developing the business plan, evaluating growth options and driving strategic initiatives for Cheddar. You will be part of the Strategy & Finance team working closely with the Commercial, Operations and Marketing teams to develop our growth runway and support the implementation of critical initiatives.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Develop and maintain the Cheddar business plan and financial models
  • Support the Leadership Team with developing a strategic roadmap and prioritising options
  • Identify and evaluate market growth options and internal/external partnering opportunities
  • Contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Work with cross-business stakeholders to optimise existing processes and capabilities
  • Support the broader business with a range of ad-hoc analysis and problem solving

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in strategy, planning, commercial or consulting experience either in-house in a corporate or a professional services firm
  • Highly analytical approach to problem solving with the ability to source & adapt frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects
  • Well organised with the ability to self-prioritise and work across multiple streams at once
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written communications
  • Ability to plan, lead and influence discussions with clear next steps & progress
  • Driven to be part of the process of building a successful business in a start-up environment
  • Passionate about being part of an exciting new team that wants to make a meaningful impact
  • Experience in retail sector, digital marketing or B2C technology would be an advantage
