Vonto is looking for Senior Engineer to become a core part of the growing engineering team and to help shape the goals and culture of this exciting venture. The role will be responsible of the development of high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage as well as own the technical architecture of parts of the Vonto platform. Other key parts of the role are:

To extend and improve DevSecOps practices to ensure automation, security and operational readiness.

To knowledge transfer from a third party as Vonto builds its internal engineering team.

You have experience building cloud-native solutions.

You’ve built customer-facing products (web/mobile) that iterate quickly to meet changing needs and scale as customer numbers grow.

You have a proven background in being able to learn new languages and technologies quickly.

Your primary focus is writing great code, but you’re equally comfortable setting up the technical architecture for the team to follow.

The role will be responsible for the development of high quality data analytics solutions with comprehensive test coverage, as well as contribute to the technical architecture of parts of the Vonto platform.

You have strong data engineering skills, and are highly proficient in Python and SQL

You have experience with cloud (Microsoft Azure would be ideal)

You’ve worked with at least one streaming solution for real time or near real time data ingestion

You’ve previously seen through production implementations of ML models

You’re holistic in how you build solutions – you have an appreciation of CI/CD, and care about the resilience and security of what you produce

Spark (particularly Pyspark), Databricks, Pandas transformations and some C# would all be useful skills to have!

The role will be responsible for working with product, design and technology representatives to rebuild the existing mobile experience under a new design and implementing new features. Key to the role is building a high quality and engaging experience that our small business customers will love.

It’s a card program manager’s dream role to build a world class end-to-end card program from scratch, in an agile environment. This opportunity is more than a job! As the Card Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing market leading payment experiences targeting a unique and nuanced market segment.

You will own the Card Program Management, including vendor negotiation and managing issuing bank relationships and compliance requirements.  You’ll be tasked with developing card products, improving customer engagement and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Managing Director of this new venture, you’ll work closely with digital product management, engineering, UX and marketing to deliver a product that customers love. 

With a key focus on meeting customer and business needs you will:

Define the venture’s card payment vision, objectives, roadmap and growth opportunities

Lead the card program management, working with internal and external stakeholders

Define card and payment-related features for a MVP for product launch

Continually seek new innovative ideas and technology to support product development

Work closely with engineering to prioritise development and make technical decisions

Collaborate with business stakeholders across risk, compliance, legal and finance to understand business imperatives and mitigate risk ensuring card product compliance

Use data and insights to optimise the customer experience and profitability

Previous Card product management or tokenisation experience

Deep technical understanding of issuer transaction processes and the card lifecycle
